However, there are many products on the market that advertise losing weight very quickly that are not good for you and will do more harm than good. Any more than this would be considered losing weight quickly. Some programs boast that you can shed 10 pounds in a week and this can be done in a healthy way, but not with most products.


Second, any pill that advertises fast weight loss should be avoided at all costs. These are not going to help you lose any fat and they will not really help you at all. Sure you might shed some quick pounds, but it will be either water weight or because your appetite is being suppressed. This can cause you to dehydrate or not get the nutrients you need. It can be very harmful to your body.


Last, you should also know that you are not going to lose much weight in a healthy way without exercise. This is one of the major components of shedding pounds and with the proper diet and exercise program you can start by losing 5 pounds a week the first couple weeks. Then, you can steadily lose 2 or 3 pounds each week there after until you reach your goal.
